Comment:

 Just wondering... Why are these hooks in `wp-settings.php` and not in
 `default-filters.php`? Is there a reason why these hooks cannot be in the
 same place where all (most?) other default hooks are? As far as I know it
 is considered a **bad practice** to have hooks all over the place for no
 apparent reason...
