 Thanks for the report.

 I was able to reproduce this issue in WP6.5, but it appears to have been
 fixed in the latest Gutenberg.

 == Testing Instructions

 1. Create a simple synced pattern in advance.
 2. Open the post editor.
 3. Insert the synced pattern you created earlier.
 4. Click the "Edit Original" button from the block toolbar.
 5. Move to pattern editing mode.
 6. Click the Document Title to launch the Command Palette.
 7. Enter some characters.
 8. Editor crashes.
 9. Enable Gutenberg plugin version 18.1.0.
 10. Repeat steps 2 to 7.
 11. The editor should not crash.
