 @devsahadat in order to reproduce the issue, you need to enable custom
 fields under Options > Preferences in the post editor. The issue is still
 reproducible in 6.5 and core trunk.

 The proposed fix that's most suitable for a minor release is still under
 review: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/56649.
