 @antonvlasenko The current PR is just part of the problem. Basically we
 need the ablity to register custom autosave / revision endpoints for post
 types. That way we can fix the regex for just those post types. It is not
 a complex fix, but it might be a lot of code. I just haven't had time to
 work on it.
