 * milestone:  6.4 => 6.5


Comment:

 Punting this as there is no straightforward solution that would be
 realistic to get into 6.4 this late in the cycle.

 Once we find a way to address it (hopefully for 6.5), we could consider
 backporting into a 6.4.x release.
