 Gutenberg PR]:

 > Since there is an `if` statement guarding that call, I wonder if the
 plugin is passing a value for the `instructions` prop that is not a string
 — that would explain the fact that the call to `speak` still gets
 executed, but fails because we're passing something different than a
 string, thus resulting in the `message.replace is not a function` error.

 Could you please confirm if your plugin is passing a string value for the
 `instructions` prop?
