 This was reported on the support forums two years ago.

 As mentioned in that topic, backing up your site and performing a manual
 update is probably your best option. If the manual update does not work
 for you, you might also try using a plugin such as
 [https://wordpress.org/plugins/core-rollback/ Core Rollback] to specify
 the version.
