 I don't this this answers the question as to the specific advantage of
 removing this package. It suggests to me there isn't a benefit in the same
 there would be no benefit in removing the deprecated jQuery Forms and
 other libraries no longer used by core.

 I've created #57827 as a bug fix for removing the unneeded loading of CSS
 and put it on the performance focus.
