 When I click Save the popup notice appears but the page does not save. No
 error message displays near the page top to suggest there is an error in
 the save function.

 A workaround is to switch to the HTML editor, make edits where possible
 then click Save.

 The issue is within the Javascript that runs on the pages.

 I manage maybe 50 sites. I'm getting inundated with reports about this
 error.

 My guess is error is under reported because people because they can't
 easily find the WP support forum through the wordpress.org website. I've
 used WordPress for over a decade, I'm sure of that, and I get frustrated
 when I try to navigate wordpress.org through to the support forums.
