 Even though this is true, passing those urls directly to Apache makes
 WordPress unable to interpret them, so any redirect plugin (Redirection,
 Rank Math, Yoast...) will not be able to redirect old urls from images or
 other wp-content media to new urls.

 Those redirects must be done through .htaccess file, which is quite messy
 for unexperienced users.

 Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this point?
