 It is worth noting that there is no `chmod()` call on
 [source:tags/6.1.1/src/wp-includes/plugin.php?marks=522#L521 line 522] of
 the `wp-includes/plugin.php` file in WordPress core, and no
 `create_function()` call on [source:tags/6.1.1/src/wp-
 includes/plugin.php?marks=623#L615 line 623]. It appears that
 [https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-my-site-was-hacked/ the site
 was hacked] and some files were replaced.
