Comment:

 This issue was likely caused by the `max_execution_time` PHP directive
 being set too low for the system that this WordPress website was running
 on.

 As there hasn't been any information/activity on this ticket in 6 years,
 I'll close this ticket as `invalid`, as this has not been identified as a
 WordPress Core issue and no further action can be taken at this time.
