Comment:

 I was not able to reproduce this. This is what I did:

 1. Open the classic editor.
 2. Add a paragraph of text.
 3. Select some of the text and make it red using the default text color
 option in TinyMCE.
 4. Copy the paragraph.
 5. Paste the paragraph at bottom of post.
