 It is still hardcoded in the file
 [https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/classes/wp_rest_posts_controller/]
 which makes it impossible to use hierarchical taxonomies via WP-REST-API.

 Is there any way to work around this issue without modifing the core
 files?
