 I hadn't but I just retried with all plugins disabled with the same
 result.

 Could it be that this is considered 'normal' behaviour? I just noticed
 when I made a test category that when deleting the test category, nothing
 happened on 'button' click (just link text for delete though). However,
 upon refreshing it was removed.

 If this 'bug' is not seen by others, I will ignore it. Such a minor
 issue...
