 Follow-up from #46645.

 The directory size calculation is typically very slow. On a "standard"
 install with about 30 plugins and themes, and several hundreds uploads it
 may take 10 - 15 seconds. On installs with a great number of files it
 times out after 30 seconds.

 During that time the page is half-loaded and there aren't any
 notifications. Ideally we should show the data that is "fast to get" and
 ask the users to wait for the size calculations to complete.
