 @rockfire ,

 Thank you for your help. Does your PHP code fix the issue that many of us
 are experiencing when we disable WP_CRON and, instead, use a Real Cron
 Job?

 Issue: We're getting "A scheduled event has failed" (i.e., cron) messages
 when using a Real Cron Job. Click here: http://prntscr.com/oam9nj

 The cron errors (from affected plugin, etc) vary depending on when and how
 often we run WP's Site Health check. Not a biggie for us, but hoping WP
 will issue a patch to fix this soon.
