 I have a front-end form using acf_form() function in ACF Pro. This is used
 to upload a post type pending review by any site visitor (not logged in).

 This includes an image field. When a user uploads the form with an image,
 the image does not show in the WordPress Media Library.

 But after messing around with the filters, eventually the image does show
 in the library. The only difference I see is that these images have no
 author - could this possibly be causing them to be filtered out?

 This issue has only cropped up recently, possibly since updated WordPress
 to version 4.9.4. I've noticed on an old backup of my site that I ran
 locally that the gallery was working fine with old and new versions of
 ACF. But then would mess up when updating WordPress. Perhaps an update to
 the database or media structure?
