 We have added a few images test results in a github page for anyone to
 see.
 So far, these settings in 40415.2.diff (resize filter, sharpening,
 compression) we believe that produce a much sharper image with smaller
 size at the same time for jpg images uploaded to Media Library.

 You can see results here for 2 different images in 3 different sizes.
 Method 6 seems to produce best quality and size (up to -47%) combination.
