 WordPress is perfectly safe, so long as you download it from
 WordPress.org.

 The report you linked us to shows a single false-positive from an off-
 brand virus provider, generally when using aggregated data, like the
 VirusTotal service, you will want more than a one-off report before it's
 considered a potential issue.
