 I haven't tried the new editor long enough to find out all bugs you
 mention, but I'm totally with you.
 I returned to the classic editor via plugin (so help me God with next WP
 versions) after noticing that the editor DOES NOT EVEN EXPAND to the
 available screen space. The developers all use monitors with 800x600
 pixels I guess.
 Also, large images are not shrinked for display in the editor.  Needless
 to say the problem this introduces with high definition images inserted in
 posts... I just hope they give users the possibility to return to the
 normal, working editor.
