 Added another patch that instead of attempting to resolve CDNs adds a
 filter that may be used to correctly resolve the relative path.

 I don't think core should be responsible for resolving the relative path
 regardless of the format it takes, that should be up to the plugin or site
 using the CDN.

 @akirk could you check if the filter in the latest patch would be
 sufficient for your use-case?
