 OMG, I wish I had seen this thread somewhat sooner. We have added an index
 on the autoload column last week and our performance has increased
 significantly! I agree with @DanBUK that the lack of this index has caused
 a lot of global energy. Not joking. Check this link to show the difference
 with/without index (CPU and Response times): https://www.use.com/OhOsu

 It might not make a difference for small sites, but for big sites this is
 really a major improvement!
