 @Clorith I think I would normally agree, but the changes in
 [attachment:38545.6.patch] from @grapplerulrich would only result in
 additional markup if the theme adds the third parameter to the function
 call. This makes it an opt-in change for theme developers. The change to
 `get_the_author_description()` happened without the theme developer
 enabling the markup change.

 [attachment:38545.6.patch] also still needs a refresh to apply cleanly.
