 Let's not only do an authenticated hit to the admin though, as a fatal
 could be introduced in a template file which wouldn't be loaded until you
 visit the front end.

 We obviously can't guarantee we'll hit the file if it's a page template or
 an archive template etc, but we can at least make sure the front page
 still loads to mitigate some forms of breakage is my thinking.
