 I've hit this problem as well, on a 250K post that has 281 revisions. I
 applied 34560.13.diff which reduced the memory footprint from ~244,283K to
 ~19,345K. The only change in functionality that I noticed is that the
 autosave revisions in the metabox are no longer indicated by [Autosave].
 That's not a huge deal.
