Comment:

 For those of us who use the text widget wiht HTML, JS or PHP code:
 In order to copy and transfer the HTML, JS or PHP code to another widget,
 before editing, rename and replace the class php file of the widget (wp-
 includes/widgets/class-wp-widget-text.php) with the version prior to 4.8
 This works correctly
