Comment:

 Just popping in to add a note that Google is pushing more and more that
 the "View All" should be a default option for paginated content.

 Google actually published a detailed review on the Canonical Tag and
 Common Mistakes back in 2013 here:

 https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2013/04/5-common-mistakes-with-
 relcanonical.html

 Here's the appropriate statement:

 "In cases of paginated content, we recommend either a rel=canonical from
 component pages to a single-page version of the article, or to use
 rel=”prev” and rel=”next” pagination markup."

 I'm sure all of you have been aware of the RELENTLESS Phantom and Quality
 Updates that Google has pushed out over the last couple of years
 (including the 5+ updates tracked this year alone). This is a '''clear
 trend by Google to remind site owners to "think of the user" first.'''

 It makes sense that at least having the ability to provide the user with a
 "View All" option to stop needless pagination would be something they
 would greatly reward. This would especially be true on Mobile when it will
 be easier for the user to scroll down as opposed to continually reloading
 multiple page partitions.
