 @folletto I'm wondering if the inactive widgets could somehow be styled to
 indicate that. It may be something that needs testing to see. Visually the
 only hitch I am getting is 'why are these split out'. Maybe that's ok as
 the user doesn't need to know the reason just that they are different?
