 Can we please get this issue sorted sooner rather than later. This is
 causing issues and frustration for people today and has been ever since
 the decision was made to hide things. Can we please get it fixed in a 4.9
 release rather than having to wait till Gutenberg is released (which
 currently doesn't even have a release date).
