 Was the closing intentional?

 There are, however,
 [https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_page_template/
 is_page_template()] and
 [https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_page_template_slug/
 get_page_template_slug()] functions that should cover this.
