 > Do we really need to have the word "Custom" in the widget name? Why not
just "HTML"? When I did a quick visual scan looking for the widget, I
immediately jumped to the "H" for HTML but couldn't see it. What's the
difference between "HTML" and "Custom HTML" anyway?

It was named "Custom HTML" to match the new Gutenberg block (see
#comment:39). We ''could'' name it HTML, but then we'd just need to rename
it again (or reconsider the block name) once we convert widgets to blocks.
