 My own opinion on this is that nothing with accessibility issues should be
 integrated into core until those issues have been solved. I would take the
 suggestion @rianrietveld made and take it a step further, instead of
 adding a disable, have users who want to use it enable it instead via
 plugin.

 Users of assistive technologies should not be forced to jump through extra
 hoops even if it something simple like a prompt letting them select legacy
 editors just so they can simply use a feature the could one version prior.

 I like the idea @FolioVision had of adding an accessible prompt asking the
 user, but part of me shies away from even that because what happens if a
 non-sighted user "misclicks" and they accidentally enable the new editor
 with its accessibility issues.
