 I'm glad to hear you like the visual code editor Rian in principle. You

 Perhaps we should just ''the first time'' in a very accessible way if a
 user edits code in any way whether the user would prefer to use the visual
 code editor (with accessibility issues) or the accessible plain text
 editor (hopefully we'll collectively add some helpful enhancements to it
 to make it more powerful for those using screenreaders or other
 accessibility technology).

 Depending on that response we could set a single preference for that
 '''user''' so the preference for which code editor to use would be on a
 per site, per user basis. Best of both worlds.
