 Thanks for the ticket, @RolandLovesOy. Welcome to WordPress Trac.

 The (very) long term goal is to make setting up and administering a
 Multisite installation of WordPress much easier, but currently the hurdles
 to enabling Multisite are intentionally high so that less technically
 savvy users don't find themselves stuck with a Multisite installation that
 they struggle to administer correctly.

 Have a read through the discussion on #32285 for a lot more information on
 this.
