 I'm glad I found this thread.

 I've been searching for a while to determine what is going on with that
 error message.

 I have done what @cristiano.zanca  suggested by deleting all transients
 from options in the database but still the issue continues.

 Is there anything else we can do/check to see what is going on?

 One thing I did when moving my site from my local host, to the live server
 was export and import the database. My local environment was running on a
 newer version of MySQL and the web server where it was moved to is running
 an older version.

 I believe the live server can only support UTF8 where my local server
 supported UTF8mb4. I think this is where the issues stems from but I could
 be wrong.

 Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
