 Thanks @helen!

 [attachment:29158.left-border.2.diff] should be ready to commit, removing
 the back button left border from the previous patch. We've discussed that
 issue with it autofocusing multiple times, but hadn't tried the border yet
 (which I also didn't like). Focus styles for the back arrows and the close
 button (no longer autofocused) are the only remaining item after this, for
 which underlining the icon (screenshot above) is my best idea so far.
