Comment:

 I'm not sure the mismatch between the visible number and the actual
 heading level is so ideal. Thinking this has the potential to mislead
 users.
 Also the mismatch between the Heading # and the shortcut hint is a bit
 confusing:

 Instead, I like the proposal with the indentation because it visually
 represents the concept of hierarchy and would help educating users that
 headings should be used semantically.
