 Back to hiding/showing icons: there was a suggestion to toggle the icons
 when there is a click on the body of the page (defaulting to hidden,
 IIRC). I'm not really sure how to do this. The actual toggle is easy
 enough, but I'm not sure how to handle click events on the page body in
 such a way as to perform the toggling iff the click is not on a button,
 link, input element, or other page element with a click handler.
 Suggestions welcome.
