 Worth considering there is a big issue for keyboard users with the current
 implementation. Being the input field to create new items at the bottom of
 the items list, keyboard users would have to tab through the entire list.
 Especially about posts, these can potentially be hundreds and... the items
 list uses infinite scroll. Thus, users would be forced to tab dozens (or
 hundreds) of times before they can reach the input field.
 Not arguing, but maybe this is because the current implementation tries to
 use a UI that has been designed for a different task and just doesn't fit
 this new use-case.

 Right now, the only solution I can think off the top of my head would be
 moving the "Create new" field at the to of the list, maybe initially
 collapsed and with a button to expand it, as for example Press This does
 for Categories. You can see Press This on your local WP install: `/wp-
 admin/press-this.php`. UI people with more experience than me could
 certainly think at better solutions. I'd just like to invite everyone to
 consider the functionality, visual, interaction, and the accessibility
 issues at the same time :)
