 This is my testing setup:

 fallback (which just enqueues the jQuery datepicker) and besides the
 mentioned problems it works very fine so far.

 CF7 with HTML5 fallback activated (so jQuery UI datepicker is
 enqueued/used for browser without native datepicker like Chrome) and using
 a form with an date input field.

 So I am not using your plugin but I am using the patch of course.
