Comment:

 Starting from version 50, Chrome implemented a "smarter" focus handling so
 at the the time of writing this, the focus loss happens just in IE and
 Safari. Moving to future release as something that we should monitor and
 maybe implement just for browsers that don't support "smart" focus. Any
 suggestion (feature detection?) welcome.
