Comment:

 Not sure where you have read that, but there is no reason for removing it.

 I did a quick poll on Slack at
 https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/core/p1455746910000403. 5 votes for
 "You are not allowed to edit this post." and 11 for "Sorry, you are not
 allowed to edit this post.". Since Sorry, " is a pretty common pattern in
 core we should go with ""Sorry, you are not allowed…". (Keep in mind that
 translators don't have to translate "Sorry".)
