 I know it's been discussed previously, but it's also worth reconsidering
 merging the [https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-revisions/ Code Revisions]
 plugin that was developed as a WordPress GSOC project a couple of years
 ago. Perhaps not so much the revisioning aspect, but more-so the breaking
 changes safeguards that prevent actively breaking a site when making edits
 via the file editors.
