 Thanks for the reply @SergeyBiryukov

 It seems that both the add new user and edit user screens have the same
 button that displays an already generated password (it looks like it just
 hides / shows the generated password when you press that button)

 What I was wondering why there isn't another button next to it that
 generates a new password in case you don't want that specific password

 Most of the content management systems / websites I've used seem to have
 an ability to randomly generate a different password. I've built this
 functionality into WordPress before for clients, just wondering why it
 isn't part of the core.
