 The last proposed approach does seem to improve a11y,  the issue is that
 the changes don't really fit in well with the rest of the admin visual
 patterns. So doesn't Press This, but at least the way I see it is that
 both Press This and the Customizer live in a place outside the Admin, but
 they still need to feel like part of the admin experience. One great
 pattern Press This is introducing is the left mark for hovered/selected
 items. Did a quick experiment to try it out, don't really have time today
 to write a patch for it, but it was one tiny change in inspector to make
 this screenshot:

 Regarding the arrow change i saw in the previous proposal, I think it is
 particularly jarring. Maybe it's because of the spacial change in the
 pattern, I can't really tell... it just strikes me as a jarring change.
 I'd say the left blue bar is enough of a visual change indicator.
