Comment (by manaspaldhe12):

-Is the service is popular enough for core developers to have heard of it
 before? Is it “mainstream?”
-Yes. ClipMine has publicly launched in July:
 http://techcrunch.com/2015/07/07/clipmine-launch/. We get regular requests
for integrations and have reach in the range of hundreds of thousands
weekly impressions and views, through social media and partner/client
websites. Established web destinations like startup incubators,
conferences and university websites are using and embedding ClipMine
 solutions.

-If similar services are already supported, how does this service compare
in terms of size, features, and backing?
-There are no similar services. ClipMine offers an extensive set of
features, enabling users to annotate videos and create a searchable
interactive table of contents for videos. We enable users to embed single
video and video playlists, which are hosted on YouTube, Vimeo and
 Dailymotion.

-Does this service have a large following on Twitter, Facebook, or other
social media? Is its Twitter account verified?
-We are in the process of getting Twitter account verified and have only
started social media outreach, as we publicly launched in July. Our
service is not targeting general population - we are a solution for video
content owners, website owners and embedders.

-Is its oEmbed endpoint clearly established and properly documented?
(Sometimes, they are just a developer’s pet project that may not be
 supported.)
-Yes, the oEmbed endpoint is clearly established and documented.

-Does the service make an effort to build relationships with developers,
 such as through robust APIs?
-Yes. We have robust APIs and provide access to interested parties
 (individual developers and media providers)

 -How old is the service?
-ClipMine is just over 2 years old.

-Does it have a well-established Wikipedia article? (Seriously.)
 -No.

-Has anyone written a WordPress plugin that leverages the service in some
way, whether adding it as an oEmbed provider, creating a shortcode, or
leveraging other APIs of the service? Do these plugins have any noticeable
adoption or traction that would indicate usage and demand?
 -No.

 -Is the provider frequently proposed?
-We receive frequent requests from customers to provide oEmbed support.
