Comment:

 I'd propose to make a decision for 4.3, either fix this or close the
 ticket :) As already pointed out, please consider visible focus is a
 specific Level AA Success Criterion, see http://www.w3.org/TR
 /UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/navigation-mechanisms-focus-visible.html
 > 2.4.7 Focus Visible: Any keyboard operable user interface has a mode of
 operation where the keyboard focus indicator is visible. (Level AA)

 Removing or making the visual focus non-visible would be a clear
 "Failure", in WCAG terminology.
