 I am going to mark this as completed for 4.3.

 Our unit tests and code are in much better shape to support PHP7 (which
 just went to beta this week).  There are some errors when running the
 tests that we can focus on fixing in 4.4 as we work to have better PHP7
 support in time for it's official release.

 If there are any specific regressions, please create a new ticket with as
 much detail as possible.
