Comment (by dd32):

 Debugging it with android chrome shows that for some reason, when you
 select a MP3 as the file to upload, android uploads it without the file
 extension. For example `tone` instead of `tone.mp3`

 This happens with both the browser upload function, and the multi-file
 uploader.

 I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I tested with Chrome
 40.0.2214.89 + "Document" when prompted to select a file.
